As President of Murphysboro Main Street, I want to create an organization with volunteers who love this town and want to help revitalize it for everyone in it and to always invite new people in. I want to create visions of our Main Street that will spread not only downtown but throughout our community. We want to create a Main Street to help businesses thrive and encourage others from outside out town to come and invest, as well as visit Murphysboro, to come and shop, eat, and do business with us. We must forward think about our town and plan for years to come in order to create a community where people love to live and visit and a passion of mine is to prove that small towns can bring great strengths.
